Life changes when you become a parent, sometimes in ways you never would have imagined. The arrival of your child(ren) brings both smiles and surprises. One of the most transforming moments is going out to eat. Suddenly, you realize that many restaurants are not equipped to handle families with kids. The tables are too close together or the bathrooms don’t have changing tables. We’ve done some research for you and have found five delicious restaurants that we can recommend to take your kids and expect things to go seamlessly.
Monas Food & Fun

Under their motto of “The best place for your kids, thinking of you!” Monas Food & Fun is a space that functions as both a restaurant and a playroom. They have a maze, craft area, climbing wall, mini kitchen, and a large children’s area for the little ones. Their menu is known for striking the right balance between the tastes of kids and adults. You can enjoy a delicious grilled tuna accompanied by a glass of wine knowing that your kids will happily eat from their own special menu after having played all day. Ideal for children between 2 and 12 years old.

Restaurante Arroyo

Without a doubt, this classic family restaurant in the south of the city is a place for kids of all ages. Hacienda de los Morales

With its impressive austere architecture, Hacienda de los Morales is not a restaurant that is immediately associated with children. However, on weekends, they set aside an area of the garden especially for kids. You can let yours play on the grass while you rest after a succulent meal. There are also arts and crafts and other activities so they are sure not to get bored. A perfect place for the whole family.

Parrilla Paraíso

This Baja and Uruguay inspired restaurant is a tasty secret in the south of the city. It doesn’t matter if you have kids or not, everyone eats deliciously. But if you do bring the youngsters, this place is an oasis of open space for strollers and where the little ones can run around. The huge garden allows the older children to expend all their energy while moms and dads recharge with a glass of wine.

Estación Cereal

Nostalgic to all – nothing pairs with childhood quite like cereal. Estación Cereal is ready for every palate with a selection of more than 150 cereals, many of which are not easily found in Mexico. In addition, they serve milkshakes, waffles, and various toppings to accompany your cereal of choice. Beware of the sugar rush! After this sweet binge you’ll have to take that extra energy out with a nice stroll around Condesa with the kids.
