To talk about Tortas Locas Hipocampo is to talk about an entrepreneurial success story of more than 60 years that continues to grow and adapt. Don Paco, their founder, was already selling eight thousand tortas a day at the age of 17 and had seven bicycles and four cars to deliver them. However, beyond the business, its success has been due to the elaboration of their tortas (Mexican sandwich) using homebread bread and both traditional and their own recipes. Even today, Tortas Locas Hipocampo continues to evolve, with a new virtual franchise model that has allowed them to continue satisfying the hunger of their customers amid the pandemic.
