Los Cocuyos

Before appearing in a Netflix documentary, Los Cocuyos were already famous among sleepless taco lovers and late-night diners. In fact, they are good at any time – in the morning for a frugal craving, at midday to hold off the onslaught of work, as a snack  in the afternoon, or, at night, to fall asleep with a full belly and a happy heart. Good thing this taqueria is open 24 hours and, while it’s a small place, its two dedicated taqueros are ready to serve longaniza, suadero and tripe classics whose slow cooking methods contrast with the speed with which these gems of Mexican street food are eaten.
