La Nueva Viga
This is the central hub of Mexican seafood, where daily deliveries arrive from the coasts and you can experience the culinary, aesthetic, social and economic aspects of Mexico’s fishing industry. In its large warehouses, any and all kinds of seafood are on offer. There are more than 100 restaurants and stalls, serving the freshest fare, from traditional ceviches to empanadas and grilled fish. The food offered is varied, colorful, and tasty. (A word of advice, it’s a good idea to wear galoshes or waterproof shoes).
