Ángel Hernández's stand, located at Patriotismo and Holbein, went viral on TikTok when a user shared his signature guajolotongo, a tamale on a bed of tortilla chips, smothered in red sauce, a decent amount of cream, and crumbled cheese to finish. Ángel, originally from Puebla, has been laboring over his tamales in the capital for at least 37 years so it’s nice to see his creations getting the attention they deserve.
