Fonda Margarita
Founded by Margarita Lugo Castillo more than 60 years ago under a tree in what would later become the Tlacoquemecatl Park in Del Valle, Fonda Margarita has set itself the task of "paying homage to the culinary tradition of the country through dishes prepared as they were in the past". Starting at 5:30 in the morning, diners can enjoy a variety of stews that several have defined as the closest to authentic traditional Mexican food. The stews change according to the day and the season, however, there is also a fixed menu with classic Mexican options.
