El Pasillo de la Salmonella

For more than 40 years, the Salmonella Corridor has fueled higher education in Mexico City, feeding thousands of sleepless and hungry students every day. The corridor, located next to the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), has been a hallmark of tasty food that suits the pocketbook. It is worth noting that, in 2017, the government of Mexico City took on the task of remodeling the corridor to provide better hygiene standards, so the name is more of a lingering joke. Currently, all the stalls have top-notch facilities and steel and cement infrastructure, which give this traditional hall a more modern and accommodating feel. Perfect for arriving to class with a happy tummy.
