El Olvidado
In the Santa Catarina neighborhood, very close to downtown Coyoacán, is El Olvidado, a place regarded for four generations of tradition, as well as for its coffees, bakery, teas and breakfasts. Its forte are the English sourdough baked goods such as loaves, croissants, Berliners and many others. In 2021, it competed among the 100 best places to try pan de muerto in Mexico City and won with distinction. It is a great place to visit when you’re up early, have coffee with bread and stroll through the streets of Coyoacán.
