El Charro
Dating back to 1956, this establishment in the food section of the Coyoacan Market stands out not only for having some of the best Michoacán-style carnitas in the city, but because they are served by Charro himself, who sports the authentic attire that gained him this nickname from when he raced horses by the old Río Churubusco. His attention to service has earned him the appreciation and esteem of diners.
