Casa Merlos
In 1970, Chef Lucila Molina founded Casa Merlos, which initially served antojitos and tamales, and gradually incorporated the now famous casserole buffet. In 1985, it opened as an eighteenth-century Puebla kitchen. The restaurant is located inside an old colonial mansion where both the decor and the traditional flavors will leave anyone forgetting that they are still in the city. Don’t miss the chalupas, handmade to order.
