Alfredo di Roma
Alfredo di Lelio first prepared the famous Fettuccine Alfredo recipe in 1908 as a token of love and companionship for his wife Agnes after the birth of their son Armando. This would be, unbeknownst to him, also the birth of a tradition that would accompany the family for three generations and counting. In 1996, Alfredo di Roma opened its doors at the Presidente Intercontinental Polanco Hotel under the direction of renowned chef Mauro Chiecchio with the goal of sharing the recipe with the Mexican public along with a wide variety of dishes with authentic Italian flavor. In addition to fettuccine, there is a fine selection of fish, meats and desserts.
